Something most people don’t know about me: “As a young child I grew up in Africa. I think this has given me a different perspective on life and on how blessed we are.”
Michael Smith, RPh

What I love about being a compounding pharmacist: “After working in several areas of pharmacy for over 35 years, the most enjoyable job I’ve ever had is with Pharmacy Solutions. We come across new things every day which keeps me on my toes. I really enjoy counseling our patients on the appropriate uses of our compounds, with the ultimate goal of improving their quality of life.”
Something most people don’t know about me: “I enjoy archery, both shooting and helping youngsters learn the skill.”
Christopher Lloyd, PharmD
Christopher Lloyd, PharmD, is a local of Arlington, Texas, where he graduated from Arlington-Martin High School in 2000. The following year, Chris began work as a Pharmacy Technician where he further developed an interest in pharmaceuticals. Later on, he graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical/Biophysical Science as well as a Minor in Chemistry, and in 2011 obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. Chris began working at Pharmacy Solutions in May of 2012 and since then has been certified in Sterile Product and Aseptic Technique Training as well as become a Preceptor in 2014. Chris is also a certified veterinary specialist through PCCA and has experience compounding for animals of all shapes and sizes, from zoo animals to domestics, and he is experienced in custom compounding for specific animals’ needs.
Outside of the Pharmacy, you can find Chis enjoying many activities ranging from sports to the outdoors. In his down time, Chris will most likely be enjoying a good book whether it be novels for himself or reading children’s books to his kiddos. Chris is married to the love of his life, Amy, and a father to three—all boys! Chris can sum up his love for pharmacy in one word: opportunity. His main focus is to make sure he is enriching his patients with opportunities that can be easily missed in everyday life.
Nick Miller, PharmD
Nick Miller, PharmD, RPh, grew up in Waco, Texas, and started his career in pharmacy at the University of Texas – Arlington, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He continued his studies at the University of Houston and received his Doctorate of Pharmacy, while graduating Cum Laude, in 2016. While in school, Nick completed his clinical rotations in Houston’s Texas Medical Center and conducted pharmacogenetic research during his time at the University of Houston. Nick’s certifications include Sterile Products, PCCA, ACIP, and Basic Life Support.
In Nick’s free time, he enjoys playing golf and slow-pitch softball, and even outside of the pharmacy is continuously trying to learn something new every day, especially if it can benefit his patients. Nick has a passion for educating patients and always hopes to go above and beyond for every person he interacts with on a daily basis.
